The Fragility Collection
This body of work was inspired by Japanese ancient verse and it’s sentiment of love, birth, death and rebirth are strongly linked with the elements and nature. I chose the Galloway Coast in South West Scotland in winter light for the installations location, that captures the essence of the etheral verse. Natural fibre of wool and silk intergrated into the vast landscape represent our fragile pressence on the planet.
